10k and Half Marathon Training 

Are you looking to increase your distance, take your running to another level, or reach a new goal and have fun doing it? Fleet Feet Rockford's experienced couching staff and mentors can help you meet your goals this year. The 10k and half marathon training programs are designed to prepare runners for new distances, a first ever endurance event or assist seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. 

This 14 week summer training program meets two times per week and includes education on endurance running principles, hydration and nutrition techniques, body awareness, pacing and running autonomy. Our coaches can help you train for any late summer or early fall race you choose! 

Program Details:

When: Wednesdays at 6:00p.m. and Saturdays at 8:00a.m. weekly

Where: We meet weekly at the Fleet Feet store and run various routes.

Cost: $50

In addition, you will receive half off the cost of any other training group should you choose to run more than one. Rock Runners and Speed Demons are complimentary to your training. *Peak members receive discounted pricing

A group specific t-shirt is included in the cost! New this season: Fleet Feet Running Club patches for completion of the program!

Goal Races:

Half Marathon- Madison Mini-Marathon on August 18th, 2018  and RAMP River Run 1/2 Marathon on September 1, 2018. The 10k goal race is the Humana Rock and Roll Chicago July 21-22, 2018

An informational meeting will be held at Fleet Feet Rockford on April 19th from 5:30p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We highly suggest attending this meeting to receive additonal information and have your questions answered. 

*There will be a "demo" run held for anyone interested from Peak Sports Club on May 7th at 6pm. Join us this evening to check out why you should train with us. (You do not need to be a Peak member to join this run)
